The Mission of the Prayer Booth is to spread the love of Jesus Christ throughout our community through Prayer. We live out this mission through prayer, Scripture engagement, small groups, and discipleship opportunities.

About Us!
The Prayer Booth invites people to experience the love of Christ in their everyday lives. What began as a devotional journey with 21 Days to Becoming a Disciple has grown into a simple, public invitation for others to encounter Jesus right where they are. We believe that Jesus calls all people to Himself and meets us with lovingkindness, drawing us into His light. At The Prayer Booth, people of all backgrounds, ages, and cultures are encouraged to engage with Christ’s love through Scripture and prayer. Whether someone has prayed for years or has never prayed before but feels curious, they are welcome.
The Prayer Booth in Action
We meet people where they are because Jesus Christ does the same (John 4:4–26; Luke 19:1–10). Throughout Scripture, we see Jesus meeting people in their real lives and speaking to them in ways they can understand (Matthew 13:10–17; Mark 4:33–34). He meets us with truth, compassion, and clarity — never confusion (John 1:14).At The Prayer Booth, we offer simple, Christ‑centered ways for people to engage in prayer (Philippians 4:6; 1 Thessalonians 5:17). Whether someone wants to take a Scripture, write a prayer and pin it on the Pin‑a‑Prayer Board (Psalm 62:8), take a Scripture round to hang in their home (Deuteronomy 6:6–9), or pray with us in person (Matthew 18:20), they are invited to connect with God in ways that feels natural and approachable.

Thank you for choosing to serve with The Prayer Booth.
Your time is a gift, and we pray that your experience here strengthens your faith as you help create a space where the love of Christ can be seen and felt. As a volunteer, you’ll be offering more than a moment of prayer — you’ll be offering hope, encouragement, and the presence of Jesus to every person who stops by.
1. A personal relationship with Jesus Christ - Not perfection — but a genuine desire to follow Him, pray with others, and represent His love with humility.
2. A heart for prayer and gentle encouragement - Volunteers should feel comfortable praying out loud, listening well, and offering hope without pressure or judgment.
3. A commitment to creating a welcoming, peaceful environment - This includes being kind, patient, and respectful with every person who approaches the booth, no matter their background or beliefs.
4. Agreement with The Prayer Booth’s mission and values -Volunteers should understand the purpose of the booth: to share the love of Jesus, to offer prayer, to provide Scripture, to meet people where they are, and to avoid pressure, debate, or theological arguments
5. Willingness to honor the structure of the booth - This means following the flow: offering Scripture, inviting people to write a prayer, praying with those who want it, keeping the space tidy and welcoming, respecting boundaries and safety guidelines
6. Reliability and communication - Volunteers should show up on time, communicate if they can’t make a shift, and be dependable in their commitments.
7. A spirit of humility and teachability - This keeps the ministry unified and ensures volunteers can receive guidance, feedback, or direction with grace.
8. A commitment to confidentiality - Anything shared in prayer stays private. Volunteers should protect the dignity and trust of every person who opens up.
9. A willingness to serve under spiritual covering - This simply means honoring your leadership, the tone of the ministry, and the way God has called you to steward The Prayer Booth.
10. Keep Christ first and remember we are here to draw people Christ with lovingkindness. We will not engage in political debate, or denominational debates.
